Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get paid?

Payments are processed automatically through Stripe. Connect your bank account in your account settings, and payouts will be deposited 2-5 business days after service completion. You can track all payments in your dashboard.

What fees does VoyGeo charge?

Customers pay a 5% platform fee per transaction. This fee is paid by the customer, not deducted from your earnings. You only pay standard Stripe processing fees. There are no setup fees, monthly fees, or listing fees for providers.

Can I set my own cancellation policy?

Yes! You are responsible for creating and enforcing your own cancellation and refund policies. Make sure to clearly state your policies in your service listings so customers understand the terms before booking.

How do I handle booking requests?

When a customer requests a booking, you'll receive an email and in-app notification. You can review the request details, communicate with the customer, and either accept or decline. We recommend responding within 24 hours to maintain a good reputation.

What happens if I need to cancel a confirmed booking?

While we understand emergencies happen, canceling confirmed bookings can negatively impact your account standing and customer reviews. If you must cancel, contact the customer immediately and work out a solution. Frequent cancellations may result in account suspension.

How do I improve my visibility on the platform?

Keep your profile complete with professional photos, detailed descriptions, and competitive pricing. Maintain high response rates, accept bookings promptly, and deliver excellent service to earn positive reviews. Active providers with good reviews get priority placement in search results.

Can I offer discounts or promotions?

Yes! You can create promotional pricing, seasonal discounts, and coupon codes directly in your dashboard. These marketing tools help attract new customers and fill your calendar during slower periods.

What if I have a dispute with a customer?

First, try to resolve the issue directly with the customer through communication. If you cannot reach a resolution, contact our support team at contact@voygeo.com. We'll review the situation and help mediate a fair outcome.

Do I need insurance to be a provider?

While not always required by VoyGeo, we strongly recommend carrying appropriate business liability insurance for your services. Insurance requirements vary by service type and location, so check your local regulations.

How do I update my service listings?

Log in to your provider dashboard and navigate to "My Services." You can edit descriptions, pricing, photos, availability, and add-ons at any time. Changes take effect immediately.

What payment methods do customers use?

Customers can pay using all major credit cards, debit cards, and digital payment methods supported by Stripe. All transactions are secure and PCI-compliant.

Can I operate in multiple locations?

Yes! You can specify service areas for each listing. Whether you serve a single city or multiple regions, you can set geographic boundaries and travel fees if applicable.
